Neelam
Brought up in a middle class family, Neelam has always been her father’s ‘golden’ child, and the one he has favored over her brother and sister when it comes to education, marriage proposals and affection. However Neelam’s world crumbles when her father died and she has to fend for herself. From dealing with her sister’s marriage which is fraught with problems, to fending off unwanted advances from her wealthy, but lust driven boss; Neelam struggles through it all desperately trying to keep her family together and dignity intact. A serial that holds a mirror up to society as we know it today, and explores the many facets of the contemporary Pakistani woman.

A serial that looks at the finer aspects of love, marriage and commitment and explores how harboring distrust can ruin a potentially thriving relationship. It’s love at first sight for Zaidan when he sees Maheen, who quite by coincidence turns out to be the dedicated young doctor Zaidan’s father wants him to marry. They are soon married and seem like ’the perfect couple’. However, things begin to go wrong when Zaidan starts questioning his wife’s growing closeness to one of her patients. Everything eventually spirals out of control for the couple; only to be stemmed by a terrible tragedy that makes Zaidan see his wife and her profession in a whole new light.
